Cookies
This site sets no cookies when you read it, and there is no advertising. If you submit the waiting-list form, the form itself uses a session cookie to protect against forged submissions; it holds no personal data and expires when you close your browser.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to see which pages people read and where they came from. It is built for privacy: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, collects no personal data and cannot follow you across sites or from one day to the next. What it records is the page, the referring site, and your country, browser and device type, counted in aggregate. Your IP address is used only for a moment to make a daily count and is never stored. Plausible is an EU company and keeps the data in the EU.
We will only ever use tools like this: non-invasive, privacy-first, and without cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or anything like it, and nothing on this site is used for advertising or sold.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (address, time, page requested, browser) for up to 30 days, to keep the site running and to deal with abuse. Then they are deleted. They are never joined to anything else.
The waiting list
If you join the waiting list we store your email address, the page you signed up from, the idea on that page if there was one, whether you wanted to add it to your list or had already done it, and the time. If you sign up again, we update that row rather than keep a second one. We do not store your IP address. Nothing else is collected, because there is nothing else to collect yet. We use the address once, to tell you when the app launches. We keep all of it until the app launches or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address.
